Co-curricular activities:

The years a student spends in the school should enable him/her to acquire sound foundation for true co-operation, self-reliance and hard work. These traits are inculcated through various School Activities. In these activities the child learns to do things for himself under the steady supervision and guidance of teachers.

Our school provides fairly widespread field of activities and parents are requested to encourage their children to participate in all such activities.

House System:

Co-Curricular Activities and Games & Sports are organized on house basis.

Teachers' Day

Date- 5 Sep. 2020

Teachers’ Day is celebrated across India on September 5, on the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a philosopher, scholar and an exemplary teacher. He was the second president of India.

Covid pandemic has given the world a great online learning experiment.Gyan Deep adopted a perfect way to meet and teach virtually.

On this Teacher’s day , children felt great loss for not being able to meet and express their Gratitude to their teachers on this day 5 September 2020. So they too came Virtually to meet their teahers. Here are some messages from the students of GYANDEEP.Students of Gyan Deep focused on the adversaries created by the Pandemic: Covid 19 and its solution through optimism through a short video, poem and posters. Gyan Deep Shiksha Bharati congratulates her for her beautiful thought expression and wishes her good luck for her future endeavors. Students paid homage to their teachers through poems , presentation.

Honorable Secratory PadmaShri Mohan Swaroop Bhatia ji extolled the role of teachers in a student’s life and appreciated the sincerest efforts of the teachers in playing a catalytic role in the holistic development of every student.

Independence Day

Date- 15 Aug. 2020

Independence day is celebrated with great zeal on 15th August every year.On this day in the year 1947.India became independent from british colonial rule.This day we celebrate by unfurling the flag, singing the national anthem, remebering or freedom figthers.

Radha Ashtami

Date- 26 Aug. 2020

Radha Ashtami is a Hindu festival celebrated as the birth anniversary of Shri Radha Rani who is considered to be the consort of Lord Krishna. According to Hindu Mythology, she is the incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi. Radha Ashtami is observed with full fervour and dedication in the northern regions of India.

To seek the blessings of Radha Rani, a online fancy dress competition was organised on the occasion of Radhashtami in Gyan Deep Shiksha Bharati School .In which the students dressed up as Radha Rani.

They looked adorable dressed as Radha and Goppis. To signify the excitement, euphoria and the joyous spirit of enthralment they celebrated the festival by enthusiastically participating in the competition.

Honourable Secretary PadmaShri Mohan Swaroop Bhatia , blessed all the students on this auspicious day.

Janmashtmi Celebration

Date- 12 Aug. 2020

Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu.

To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, a online fancy dress competition was organised on the occasion of Janmashtami in Gyan Deep Shiksha Bharati School .In which the students dressed up as lord Krishna, complete with flutes and peacock feathers.

They looked adorable dressed as lord Krishna.The virtual screen was mesmerizing as natkhat kanhaiya’s of Gyan Deep looked beautiful in their attire . To signify the excitement, euphoria and the joyous spirit of enthralment they celebrated the festival by enthusiastically participating in the competition.

Honourable Secretary PadmaShri Mohan Swaroop Bhatia , blessed all the students on this auspicious day.

May we all remember what Lord Krishna taught mankind in the Gita and may we always follow the path of Dharma and keep on doing good Karma.

Mothers Day

Date- 10 May 2020

“A Mother is she who can take the place of all others, but whose place no one else can take”.

Mother’s day is a special day, for all children and mothers as well , it celebrates the bond of love and affection that is everlasting. Mothers are the emotional backbone of the family, who have the magic touch to heal all wounds and make all things beautiful.

Gyan Deep Shiksha Bharati , School , Mathura organized card making activity students. The students made beautiful cards for their mother. As we all know “Mother is the shadow of God” no one can take her place but she can take the place of everyone. A child is attached to his/her mother the most , So it was the perfect day to show the mother’s that how much their children love them. The competition aimed at promoting creativity and self-expression among students.The cards they made showed their love and gratitude towards their mother.

Parents were filled with joy and happiness to see the love of their kids which was expressed creatively by their kids in the form of greeting cards.

Creative education is when students are able to use imagination and critical thinking to create new and meaningful forms of ideas in a form which is easily conveyed and well accepted.

World No Tobacco Day

Replacing the smoke on your face with a smile today will replace illness in your life with happiness tomorrow.

May , 31st is celebrated as “World No Tabaco Day” to spread awareness about the health risks and harmful effects due to tobacco consumption. A Poster making competition is being organised by “Gyan Deep Shiksha Bharati” for the students of class 3rd to 12th.The theme of poster making was “Say no to tobacco.”

The aim of this competition was not merely to see the creative aspect but also to trigger the thought process of the children and sensitize them towards these burning & serious issues.

Poster Making Competition

Children vent their feelings by drawing it on the piece of paper and giving it different shades & colours. It helps in understanding the child’s psychology.

Awards :

Gyan Deep Shiksha Bharati School, had organized an Poster Making Competition for the students. The objective of the competition was to ignite the fire of imagination and creativity in the students. The aim of this competition was not merely to see the creative aspect but also to trigger the thought process of the children and sensitize them towards these burning & serious issues. The theme of the competition was “CORONA”. Students were asked to express their ideas through paintings and sketches. The young learners displayed their artistic skills through an array of posters.

Creative education is when students are able to use imagination and critical thinking to create new and meaningful forms of ideas in a form which is easily conveyed and well accepted.

During this COVID 19 pandemic kids and Youth Brigade of Gyan Deep is creatively expressing themselves in varied ways..

To inculcate the qualities of leadership, co-operation mutual understanding, tolerance and team spirit, the students are allotted one house each out of four houses namely ASHOK, RAMAN, TILAK and TAGORE.
